Closing port 6667

As announced on December 13, 2018, PTirc today closed port 6667 (plaintext). From now on all our users should use port 6697 (SSL / TLS) to connect to the network. Here are the commands to use on the most used IRC clients: mIRC /server irc.ptirc.org:+6697 HexChat /server irc.ptirc.org +6697 AdiIRC /server irc.ptirc.org:+6697

Security warning

PTirc plans to shut down port 6667 (plaintext) at the beginning of 2019.

This decision is to reduce spam bots attacks (spambots) and increase the security of our users.

Therefore, all our users must use port 6697 to connect to the network.
The commands for connecting to the network by mIRC and HexChat are as follows:

mIRC:
/server irc.ptirc.org:+6697

HexChat:
/server irc.ptirc.org +6697

If you use other types of services, such as ZNC, to connect to the network, you must notify their providers to explicitly use port 6697 or they will be unable to connect.
